Sometimes, I find the animals around here a little creepy.

Update: Photo of the Week on The Loop Scoop
About two hours ago, I took my daughter (3.5 months old) for a sunrise stroll in the park. I always take my camera along, and it usually pays off.

Lately, I have been visiting all the parks in Kingwood, Texas. I took this photo in River Grove Park earlier this week. It was foggy, and it starts raining right after I arrived. I seems like every time I go, all the birds sit just a little to far away for me to get decent [...]
This is from a foggy morning last week, when I drove up to Kingwood and went looking for new places to photograph. This is in River Grove Park.

This photo is from East End Park in Kingwood, Texas. Otter Point, to be exact.

Today, I visited the Armand Bayou Nature Center. They have a variety of short trails that take you through forest, marsh, and prairie. There were many butterflies around, but the only ones I could get close to were the Swallowtails.
A few weeks ago, I found a good place near Houston for birding photos. I can’t identify many birds, but I saw white ibises everywhere.
Sheldon Lake State Park
I went out to Lake Houston Park on Friday morning. Sadly, I took very few pictures. Storm clouds had moved in, but I wanted to check out the trails so I will know my way around next time. I had walked for an hour when the downpour started. Most of the pictures turned out very [...]
This tree is in Glenwood Cemetery in Houston, Texas. If you look close, you can see some of the support cables and brackets that help the tree.
Have a nice Friday.
