Last summer I illegally camped in Berkeley for the 4 days surrounding the R.E.M., Modest Mouse, & The National concert. Two days before the show, I rode BART to a downtown San Fransisco stop and walked to Sausilito. I was going to make the 11-mile trek from the GG Bridge to John Muir beach, but I only had two bottles of fresh water, half a loaf of French bread, and a platic baggie of black raspberries. I still would have done it had it not started raining. Anyway, your photos reminded me of the trip.
